Install - CUE Global & Finder

Note: If you have not installed Metastock yet, please follow the instructions sent to you by Metastock and install Metastock on the computer before proceeding with the following steps for installing CUE Global.

Note: If you had installed CUE Global earlier and would like to clean up the system before installing a newer version of CUE Global, then you may follow the steps in this topic: Removing older components before installing a new version of CUE Global.

STEP 1: DOWNLOADING CUE GLOBAL & FINDER

1.1. Before proceeding, make sure that you read and consent to Superior Profit User Agreement, Privacy Statement, and Site Disclaimer.

Proceeding with the subsequent steps means you have read and consented to the above information.

The CUE Global license may not be validated under some circumstances, e.g. from a secured office environment/Internet.

This may happen if the Firewall, high-security Internet, or Anti-Virus Protection Software has been set up to bar certain connections from your computer to the external world (cloud, where the CUE license server is based).

When this happens, CUE charts may appear as below.

Note: The same chart without the usual colored indicators appears if you do not have a valid license from CUE Global. How do you ensure you have a valid CUE Global license? You may change the Internet connection from your office/secure Internet to your mobile hotspot. If that displays the CUE charts properly but the office/secure environment does not, then the office/secure environment is barring access to the CUE Global license server.

The solution is to ensure port 44444 is open in the office/secure environment. If that port is…

1) Delete the old CUE Templates from <Documents>/Metastock folder:

1.1. Delete all files with the name starting with "CUE".

2) Remove all old CUE Explorers, expert advisors, and Indicators:

2.1 Run Metastock program.

2.2. Deleting the CUE explorers.

Go to the "Tools" menu of Metastock and choose "The Explorer".

CUE Global does not need to set any indicator-specific values or thresholds or parameters. One may install it out of the box and start using the system.

If you are trading in global (non-USA) markets or want to make changes to default settings, then the country specific CUE indicators may be edited to set the parameters as described below.

CUE # Global Benchmark Setting

1. Benchmark: This parameter is used in the calculation of the Relative Performance indicator. For example, for USA stock trading, the S&P500 Index of SPY ETF could be used for the benchmark. CUE # Global Session Setting

2. Session: This is relevant only for Real-Time users. The session parameters indicate the start time and end time of the daily trading sessions. Intraday pivot levels are calculated using this information. You may set these parameters to your stock market session start and end times. For the USA…
