This is how to identify buy candidates with perfect timing.

Perfect timing was the topic of my last weekend's market recap. It is therefore appropriate to post a new stock on that topic today, Monday.

This is an Indian stock - the analysis and CUE tools and techniques are the same for all other markets and countries. My aim, as always, is to explain the CUE tools and techniques - not to provide stock tips. This explains the tools and techniques quite well.

Is it a time to be bullish?

If you followed my Twitter feed (https://x.com/SuperiorProfit), you would know I stopped being bullish and closed my long swing trades yesterday 24th Jul 2024 (a nice day, what a coincidence of having 24-24 in the date). I tweeted about that decision during market hours. I could decide that based on CUE breadth insights.

Now is the time to explain that in more detail.

There is a unique CUE chart pattern that has worked out with remarkable accuracy both at the top and at the bottom. For the top, it is a chart at PriceExtremeHigh (high price), at JumpThrustHigh (jumping up with acceleration from that high price), and then suddenly followed by a BigMoveDown3 (the parent of all bearish momentum). I hypothesize that it is due to selling by big players - not small traders like myself. And that selling is often not completed…

A reliable technique to buy at the extreme-low price level.

I have mentioned a CUE pattern that is very reliable. It is a pattern. Not a setup. Once the pattern is there, you may look for a CUE buy setup. That is exactly what came in this stock $HLL.NS $HINDUSTANUNILEVER (listed in India). That is majority owned by $UL ($UNILEVER), listed in the USA.

Here is the pattern. Find a stock jumping down with acceleration (JumpThrustLow) at the extreme-low price level (PriceExtremeLow). And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, comes a parent of all bullish momentum (BigMoveUp3). I hypothesize that some bigger players stepped in to stop the down move.

Sometimes BigMoveUp3 comes with a CUE buy setup. Sometimes, the buy point, i.e. the CUE setup may come a few days later. For this stock, the buy point came the next day with a Breakout buy setup. And…

Small-cap, value buy candidate at a low-price level.

In the weekend recap, I showed that it made sense to look to buy small-cap stocks (that was in favor) and value stocks (that was also in favor).

One thing to note is its industry is still weak. Will you still consider taking a low-risk buy entry looking at the technical charts and fundamental score? Alternately, you may watch how the industry closes - whether it shows strength or acceleration by the close. There is no right or wrong approach. It is your judgement call looking at all the objective analytics.
