How to set up TradeStation custom lists for CUE Elite radar and scan?
TradeStation custom lists are used for two different purposes in CUE Elite. One is to use them in real-time radar analysis/trade setup finding. The other is to use them in end-of-day (after market close) scans.
You can set up the custom lists provided for CUE Elite using the following steps.
1. Close TradeStation.
2. Go to the folder below on your computer (the user name has to be replaced by the user name for your computer):
C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\TradeStation 10.0
3. Rename the CustomSymbolLists folder as CustomSymbolListsOLD (this is to save a backup).
4. Download the CustomSymbolLists as I have set up from the cloud following this link (it has a compressed/.Zip file):
5. Uncompress the downloaded file and place the CustomSymbolLists folder in the path mentioned in step 2.
6. Open TradeStation.
Note that by default, the CUE Elite scans run the symbol list "$ CUE Scan Symbol List". To change the stocks to run the scans, you may update the stocks in this list. Then, all CUE scans will run on the updated stock list.
Your custom symbol lists are now set up exactly as on my computer for CUE Elite radar and scan.
