How to set MetaStock custom lists for CUE Market Breadth and CUE Global & Finder?
MetaStock custom lists serve multiple purposes in CUE systems.
CUE Market Breadth uses the local lists that are a part of custom lists.
CUE Global and CUE Finder use online lists for charting and scanning. The online lists are also a part of custom lists.
You can set up both components of custom lists as I have set, following the steps below.
Note: I have tested this on the latest MetaStock version as of the date of this post. It may also work with earlier or later versions. However, I have not tested it out.
The lists are up to date as of the day of this post. You may update it from time to time. Say, once in three months.
1. Close MetaStock.
2. Go to the folder on your computer (the user name has to be replaced by the user name for your computer):
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Innovative Market Analysis\MetaStock\<Latest Version Number>
3. Rename the CustomLists folder to CustomListsOld (this is to save a backup).
4. Download the CustomLists as I have set up from the cloud following this link (it has a compressed/.Zip file):
5. Uncompress the downloaded file and place the CustomLists folder in the path mentioned in step 2.
6. Open MetaStock.
Your custom lists are now set up exactly as they are on my computer for CUE Market Breadth and CUE Global & Finder.
