MetaStock custom lists serve multiple purposes in CUE systems.

CUE Market Breadth uses the local lists that are a part of custom lists.

CUE Global and CUE Finder use online lists for charting and scanning. The online lists are also a part of custom lists.

You can set up both components of custom lists as I have set, following the steps below.

Note: I have tested this on the latest MetaStock version as of the date of this post. It may also work with earlier or later versions. However, I have not tested it out.

The lists are up to date as of the day of this post. You may update it from time to time. Say, once in three months.

The following steps may be tried out.

It is not certain that it will resolve the issue, though, especially if it is a network connectivity issue. The steps were gathered from TradeStation support.

1) Rebooting the Internet router may fix router and Internet connection stability issues.

2) Other than that, you may reboot the computer. And also try the following.

3) Close TradeStation.

4) Go to the folder C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\TradeStation 10.0\CAL and delte the entire folder "Cache".

For some users of MetaStock 19, maybe earlier versions too, MetaStock crashes while opening multiple and/or complex charts.

One possible solution shared by a CUE user (he got it from MetaStock) is as follows.

1. Close MetaStock.

2. Go to the folder C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Innovative Market Analysis\MetaStock\19.0

3. Delete the file WorkSpaceSettings.json

4. Restart MetaStock
